Why Veterans Need Medical Marijuana | Weed For Warriors
Federal marijuana prohibition prevents the VA from offering medical marijuana to veterans. We take a look at veteran organizations advocating for cannabis access for veterans. We caught up with Adam Villarreal from Weed for Warriors Project about its mission for veteran welfare through medicinal cannabis. In this interview, we learned that 20% of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans suffer from PTSD and/or depression. Weed For Warriors Project supports them through community-based projects, proactive care advocacy, cannabis education, and compassion while creating pathways for cannabis access for veterans.
