About VetCBD

Veterinarian Dr. Tim Shu founded VetCBD in 2015 to provide pets the benefits of CBD. Since then, he and the VetCBD team have been committed to the education, research and advocacy of cannabinoid therapeutics for animals. Dr. Shu combines his veterinary knowledge with his medical hemp expertise to formulate products that are safe and effective for pets. As a leading expert on the subject, Dr. Shu and VetCBD have been featured on Green Bee Life (GBL TV) and by numerous media outlets such as The Today Show, CNBC and GBL TV.

Passing the sniff test:
A recent study tested 29 pet CBD products, and found that only 10 of the 29 products had the correct amount of CBD.[1] that means over 65% of the tested products were labeled incorrectly! Why does this happen? Because CBD companies are not required to test their final products, and because testing is expensive. VetCBD has been doing lab testing since 2015.  They triple-test their products using California-licensed, third party testing labs, to insure quality and consistency.
